I have seen and heard many people say, "Don't forget 9-11-01".... I agree and know why that is impotant, but when I hear that quote, it upsets me. I don't need to be told to remember that day. Maybe some people do. And if they do, I think it's a shame.

I hope that all Americans learn about and cherish the history of the United States and all the conflicts and changes it has seen. I have not learned much, but with your help, I can learn more. With that in mind I say,
"Every day that America is Free is an important day to remember."

I also believe every American should experience a real life detailed war story (not a Hollywood movie) at least once in their life, to help them understand the true horrors and what these veterans really put their lives through just so we can enjoy our own...
